STOMPer Sze Li said her husband and her daughter left Kidz Amaze at Safra Jurong with bruises and wounds after celebrating the girl's birthday there.
The STOMPer is concerned with the lack of safety precautions at some of the facilities there.
She said:
"First I would like to comment on the slide, which is the tallest slide in Asia. I got a rude shock when I reached the ground level. The cushion was being pushed away from the slide and I landed on the floor, with my back against the slide and I almost couldn't get up from the impact it had on my back.
"I ended up with a big bruise. Imagine if it was a child who had slid down and hit the floor and the slide. The person in charge there didn't even bother to apologise and check whether I was ok.
"Why wasn't the cushion secured properly? After that, there was an announcement to warn the children not to throw the balls down the slide as it could push the cushion and cause it to detach from the slide. I thought that was the most absurd announcement.
"Next, I would like to comment on the flight of stairs leading to the upper floor. I was holding on to my girl's hand while climbing up the stairs but she slipped and bled on her shin because the edges of the metal steps were rough!
"There was also a plastic 'curtain' on this flight of stairs and a child was leaning on it, thinking that it was a solid barrier. She might have fallen off the steps.
"Why aren't the flight of stairs made safe for children?
"Then there are some areas where there are notices saying that the areas are not for bigger sized people.
"We are not big sized, so we tried and we could easily slide down the slides of these areas with the warnings.
"Then we got stuck and we had to climb up through the small space. Luckily we could do that since my husband and I are not too big. But what if it were an uneducated parent accompanying the child who can't understand the sign?
This playground is full of danger. I wouldn't go there again. We came out shortly after less than an hour. I wasn't thinking of going back there every again."
